Kołobrzeg Is famous for a batching beach and health resort, mineral water springs, baths and therapeutic mud deposits. The city growth is stimulated by commercial, fishing, passenger liners ports and a marine. Kołobrzeg is a strong cultural center that houses Contemporary Art Gallery and International Meetings with Folklore are held there.

Sights

Gothic Collegiate Church
The Saint Mary Immaculate Conception Collegiate Church is a immense size hall with a chancel closed from all sides and a monumental west bulk.

Town Hall
A Gothic Town Hall was built around 1364 and converted after destruction. A new building was raised in 1829-32 according to design of K.F. Schinkiel. At 9 am, 3 pm and 6 pm you can hear a bugle call sounded daily from its tower.

Knight’s Academy
The Academy located at Wąska Street dating back from XVIII century that in the past was a place of swordplay and horse riding lessons for the Gentry youth.

Palace
The Brunszwicki family Palace is located at Armii Krajowej street and at present it houses a Museum.

ORF Fala
The Museum of Ships.

Tenement
The Schliefen bourgeois Tenement.

Fuse Tower
At present it is called Gunpowder Tower and it used to be a part of fortifications.

Namely Wolf Fort, Mouth Fort, Morast Redoubt, Salt Redoubt.

It stocks exhibits related to arms, history of Kołobrzeg and metrology records.

Ceremony Celebrating Poland’s Regained Access to the Baltic Sea Monument
Dating from 1963 according to design of Wiktor Tolkien- a symbol of access to sea.

Lighthouse
Dating from 1945 of 26 m height and at the same time is a monument of victory commemorating “Heroes that fall fighting for freedom and independence”.

The Saint John Church
A church dating from 1222 located in Budzistowo and the oldest one in Koszalin-Kołobrzeg diocese.
